Day 1

On arrival at Entebbe Airport, you'll meet our Pamoja company representative for pick up and briefing about your 5 days at Uganda Gorillas Wildlife Safari. Later, you'll set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park one of the most visited national parks in Uganda to encounter Uganda kobs, elephants, warthogs, giant forest hogs, Cape buffaloes, spotted hyenas, and big cats like leopards, lions, genals, civets, and serval cats. The drive will take you across the equator landmark with an en-route stop at the Equator to observe a water experiment and to take a memorial photo with one leg standing in the northern and another one in the southern hemisphere then proceed with your drive through farms of the incredible Ankole cattle and local people working in their plantation.

Day 2

Morning Chimpanzee Trekking – Afternoon Boat Cruise – Evening Game Drive

After having your breakfast, you'll go to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee trekking. Once you meet chimpanzees, you will have 1 hour of watching them carrying out their daily activities such as grooming their babies, hunting, and jumping in tree branches. Later, you'll return to your lodge to have refreshments and lunch. Later, you'll go for your afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. Kazinga Channel to see hippopotamuses, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. After your afternoon boat cruise, you'll have a short break to relax. Later, you'll go for your evening game drive on Kasenyi track in search of the big predators of the park such as lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas since they are so active during evening hours and early morning hours. Later, you'll return to your lodge to relax have dinner, and have an overnight stay.

Day 3

You will wake up early to have your breakfast, check out, and drive to Ishasha to look for tree-climbing lions, elephants, Cape buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, and warthogs among others. You will have a short break for lunch. Later, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park the home to the endangered mountain gorillas and one of the oldest forests in Uganda.

Day 4

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for Relaxation

Today after having your heavy breakfast, you will drive to the park information offices for a briefing about the dos and don’ts to follow during gorilla trekking. Later, you'll start your guided forest walk with a ranger guide to search for the giant endangered mountain gorillas. During your walk, you may encounter other wildlife species besides gorillas such as chimpanzees, black and white Colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, bush pigs, forest elephants, many bird species, butterflies, and many others. The time taken while looking for mountain gorillas depends on the location and movements of the allocated gorilla family. You will spend a maximum of 1 hour watching them, taking photos, following their moves, and asking your ranger as many questions as possible. You'll return to the starting point to pick up your tracking certificate and enjoy your lunch. Later, you'll drive to Lake Bunyonyi for a canoeing experience the following day.

After having your breakfast, you'll go for your early morning canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi which will take you to visit several islands. This lake has over 29 small islands and each of them has its unique exciting story. So, visiting some of the most known Islands like Akampene Island was used to punish all those girls who were found pregnant before marriage by isolating them on the island to death. After enjoying your morning boat riding, you will return to your lodge to pick up your bags, check out, and embark on your return drive to Entebbe International Airport with an en-route stop to have lunch at Igongo Cultural Center. Then, you'll proceed with your drive straight to Entebbe International Airport to end your 5 days at Uganda Gorillas Wildlife Safari in Uganda.
