This will be a day of unlimited game drives for you to explore the depth and breadth of this famous park. You will be taken on two game drives, one in the morning before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals as they are most active. To get some of the best game viewing of the day, an early start is needed to beat the heat of the sun. This is the time that the big cats are most active.
To bring more texture to your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost. Experience a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village. Want an unforgettable sight? Take a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah and witness the herds of wildlife emerging into the day. Your driver/guide can arrange either of these optional excursions.
