Begin your safari adventure with a 7 am transfer from O.R. Tambo International Airport to Hazyview, where you’ll meet your friendly Wild Planet Safari guide. After a light lunch (own expense), we enter Kruger National Park via Phabeni Gate—just 15 minutes from town. The drive to Skukuza Rest Camp is relaxed and scenic, offering your first glimpses of Africa’s iconic wildlife.
Spend the night in a comfortable, air-conditioned rondawel with all the essentials. Skukuza Camp, set along the Sabie River, features excellent facilities including a restaurant, shop and swimming pool. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the fenced riverfront path and soak in the natural beauty.
Later in the afternoon, head out on a short game drive in search of Kruger’s diverse wildlife—from elephants and giraffes to zebras and maybe even a big cat! Return to camp for a delicious dinner under the stars. Day 1 offers the perfect balance of comfort, excitement, and immersion in the magic of the African bush.

Day 2

The day begins with a sunrise safari along the Sabie River, a region famous for its rich wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, hippos, lions, and a variety of birdlife. After a peaceful drive, return to Skukuza for a hearty breakfast.
We then journey north toward Satara, one of Kruger’s best game-viewing areas. Along the way, we pause at a scenic picnic site for a refreshment break before continuing through lion territory—keep watch for the elusive white lion, a rare and thrilling sight!
Upon arrival at Satara, enjoy a relaxing lunch and settle into your rondawel. Surrounded by open grasslands, Satara is a magnet for herbivores and predators alike. That afternoon, we head out on another game drive before returning to camp for dinner.
As night falls, join a thrilling Kruger night drive. Discover Africa’s nocturnal wonders—lions, leopards, hyenas, honey badgers, and more. Day 2 delivers a perfect mix of excitement, discovery, and unforgettable wildlife moments.

Day 3

Today begins with an early morning safari around Satara, one of Kruger’s top regions for predator sightings. This area is well-known for its large lion prides, stealthy leopards, agile cheetahs, elusive wild dogs, and energetic hyenas. Enjoy breakfast at a scenic picnic site before returning to camp.
During the heat of the day, take time to unwind. Explore Satara’s facilities, relax in your rondawel, or enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool. A stroll along the camp's perimeter fence may even reward you with sightings of animals passing close by.
After lunch, head out for an exciting afternoon safari. Each drive brings the possibility of spotting new species or witnessing unexpected moments in the wild.
As the golden light fades, return to camp for a delicious dinner under the stars. Day 3 is a celebration of Kruger’s wild heart—packed with unforgettable sightings, golden sunsets, and cherished memories shared with loved ones.

Day 4

On the final day, begin with a choice between a guided morning bush walk (optional, additional cost, and must be booked in advance) or a final game drive in an open safari vehicle—both offering one last chance to encounter Kruger’s incredible wildlife in the golden morning light.
Return to camp by 8:00 am for a hearty breakfast, the perfect way to fuel up before the journey ahead. After breakfast, say farewell to the camp and enjoy a slow drive toward the park’s exit gate, soaking in your final views and hoping for a few last wildlife sightings.
At 11:00 am, meet our transfer team in Hoedspruit for a scenic drive back to Johannesburg. Travel through the dramatic landscapes of the Drakensberg Escarpment, passing rolling hills and breathtaking vistas.
You’ll arrive in Johannesburg between 5:00 and 6:00 pm, with drop-off at the airport. Please book domestic flights after 8:00 pm and international flights after 9:00 pm.
