Day 1

Begin with an early morning pick-up after breakfast. You will drive to Mount Longonot, passing through the Great Rift Valley. There will be a brief stop for a bathroom break and some photos along the way.

Arrive at the starting point around 8:30am, and after a brief overview, begin your hiking expedition. The first 3km (2mi) of the ascent are thrilling and great for acclimatizing your body. Once you reach the rim, enjoy the stunning views as you walk around it.

You will finish the hike by 2:00pm and stop for lunch on your journey back to Nairobi. Finally, you will be dropped off at a hotel or the airport in Nairobi.
