Day 1

Arrival / transfer to Arusha

Arrival / transfer to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport, you will be met by our driver Guide and transfer to the lodge in Arusha which takes approximately 1h30m. If the weather is good, you will get to see the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro. You will also get to see people from different communities and culture conducting their normal daily activities alongside the road. You will arrive the lodge in good time to check-in, freshen up and rest a bit before dinner.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast you will depart lodge with picnic lunch and head to Tarangire National Park. This park is well known for its large elephant herds. You will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna, and life-giving Tarangire River as it the main source of water in the park. Tarangire River, is full of wildlife ranging from a variety of birds species, herbivores and of course a number of predators species.

You will have lunch in the park’s picnic site then proceed searching for game viewing opportunities seeking to encounter multitude creatures from zebra to wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe, to name a few.
In the evening you will drive to the lodge in Makuyuni for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, at 7:30am set off for a cultural experience at Kigongoni area just before getting to Mto wa mbu. You will have an opportunity to visit a Masai Boma and meet the semi-nomad’s tribe, one of the East African world-known icons.
You will then proceed to Mto wa Mbu village for a local hot lunch, a good way to explore Tanzanian local dishes.
After lunch you will proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive.

The Park well known for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos along the lake. Tree-climbing lions can be spotted in Lake Manyara National Park although seeing them is a game chance.

Lake Manyara National Park is also home to thousands of herbivores such as zebras, gazelles, buffalos, bushbucks, waterbucks, giraffes, baboons, hippopotamus, elephants, warthog and many others.
You will end the day listening to amazing bird sounds from trees and gardens at the lodge where you will spend your night.

Day 4

Lake Eyasi, Hadzabe and Datoga Experience

Lake Eyasi, Hadzabe and Datoga Experience

After an early breakfast you will drive to Lake Eyasi with picnic lunch ready to encounter the African Bushmen. Lake Eyasi is a shallow Lake located on the floor of the Eastern Arm of the Great Rift Valley, acknowledged as the father of all rifts being the oldest on Earth. The lake hosts millions of crustaceans that are very much preferred by flamingos for meals.

When you’re done on the lake, you will meet Hadzabe & Datoga who still hunt for food to date. You will get enough time to interact with these iconic tribesmen documented to live in groups with no hierarchy & rules since all the resources are shared. You will also get to learn how they hunt for food and equipment they use.
After time with the Hadzabe you will head Later on you will drive back to your lodge for lunch and have the rest of the afternoon to yourself for self-discovery around the lodge before dinner.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park

Today, we will start with morning game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater. With its 2000 ft. high walls, expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and many bird’s species. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley. NCA was established to conserve wildlife and other natural resources.

The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest caldera in the world. About 20kms wide, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. You will also visit Lake Magadi, where you will see a large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds. After game drive at around 15:00, you will ascend the crater and drive to Serengeti National Park with game enroute. You will arrive at the lodge in good time to shower and some time at the bar before dinner.

Today is fully dedicated to Serengeti National Park, perhaps the world’s most enchanting and breathtaking park on the planet.
There may be few destinations that should top everyone’s bucket list to visit over a lifetime, however, Serengeti tops most of the adventure lovers. Your guide will take you through different parts of Serengeti in search for the best wildlife viewing spots.
In the afternoon you will stop around the Seronera Valley for a delicious lunch while scanning the surroundings for game viewing opportunities. Seronera Valley is kept alive by the Seronera River which attracts thousands of wild animals being the main source of water in the Central Serengeti.
Continue searching for various animals to explore from the Big five to other wild animals.

Drive to the airstrip

Drive to the airstrip

On this day you will start after breakfast by enjoying the sunrise game drive while heading to the Seronera airstrip for your flight to Arusha. You will board on a flight that will land at Arusha, have lunch in one of the restaurants in town. After lunch you will transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
