Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport in the early morning hours, you will be received by your driver guide who will brief you about your trip. Afterwards, you will hit the road to head North through the districts of Luweero and Masindi with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary with lunch en route then proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Later, you will be arriving at your lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Murchison Falls National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will go for a sunrise game drive in the Nyamsika plateau to see the Cape buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, Uganda kob, hartebeest, and waterbucks. You may also spot oribis, bushbucks, Bohor reedbucks, shy sitatunga, bush duikers, warthogs, and bush pigs plus large carnivores including lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas. Crocodiles and hippos will be seen along the banks of the Nile. Some of the more common birds that can be seen include goliath heron, Egyptian geese, pelican, bee-eaters, kingfishers, hornbills, cormorants, saddle-bill stork and the rare shoebill stork.

You will return to your lodge for some relaxation before setting off in the afternoon for a boat cruise on the placid Victoria Nile, upstream, to the base of the falls. En route, you will see hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, and a wide variety of birds including the unusual shoebill stork. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Morning Game Drives and Transfer to Entebbe

Morning Game Drives and Transfer to Entebbe

After an early morning breakfast, you will proceed for another game drive in the morning. It will be a great time as you look out for various animal species though most of them will be seen in the grasslands feeding such as buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, lions, and antelopes, not forgetting a number of bird species. You will proceed to transfer back to Entebbe with lunch en route arriving later in the evening. You will be dropped off at the airport or at your hotel.
