Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will depart at 7:30 am from an agreed pick-up point in Arusha town and drive for 2.5 hours to Tarangire National Park. After registration, you will enter the park. Tarangire National Park in Tanzania is also called the land of baobab trees and is the home of massive elephants. It has more than 500 bird species. In the evening, drive to the Country Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will drive from the Country Lodge to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It will take 4 to 5 hours to drive from the lodge to the Serengeti gate. On the way, you will make a stop at the Ngorongoro viewpoint. Then, you will drive to the Serengeti and have a half-day game drive in the park until evening. You will drive to Thorn Tree Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

In the early morning, before or after breakfast (arrange with your guide), go on a game drive until lunchtime. You will drive back to the lodge for a hot lunch or take a packed lunch with you and have lunch on the way. Proceed the game drive en route to the Ngorongoro area for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.

Day 4

Crater to Arusha

Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, drive from the camp to the crater for a half-day game drive in the crater.

The Ngorongoro Crater offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. All the major safari animals occur in great numbers. The resident population of black rhinos is a real treat, as rhinos are very difficult to spot worldwide. The crater is also home to some very impressive elephant bulls with huge tusks. Lake Magadi is a place to see a large number of flamingos. Around 12 pm, drive back to the camp for lunch and prepare to drive to Arusha.
