Day 1

When you arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) or at Arusha Airport, you will be met by a representative of Serengeti Landmark Tours and transferred to a hotel in Arusha, ready to start your adventure the next day.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

In the morning at around 07:30 am, your safari guide will arrive at the hotel and inform the receptionist that he is waiting for you. After meeting up with your driver, you will travel to Tarangire National Park, and by 10:00 am, you will already be on your first safari!

In this park, you have the chance to see lots of wild Tanzanian animals (lions, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, etc.), but above all else, it is famous for its astonishing number of elephants. They tend to stay close to their drinking source, the Tarangire River. You should be aware that this is wild nature, so the guide cannot make any guarantees about the presence of specific wild animals, but you can be sure he will do his best to find everything you're looking for!

At lunchtime, you will be provided a meal, after which the safari will continue. In the evening, you will be transferred to Jambo Lodge where you will meet your cook.

Day 3

Tarangire to Serengeti

Tarangire to Serengeti

After breakfast, the route to Serengeti will begin via Ngorongoro. You will arrive at your campsite in Central Serengeti. The greater part of this area is savannah with wide-open spaces which provides a likely opportunity to see a cheetah hunting antelope.

In the evening, you will be transferred to the campsite where you will have dinner and be able to rest, getting ready for the next day's adventure.

Day 4

Game drive inside the Serengeti

After breakfast, you will start the game drive inside the park. Your driver will try to find the animals you're the most interested in. Close to lunchtime, you will visit the Serengeti Visitor Centre where you will be offered a lunchbox. You will receive interesting information not only about the animal populations, but also about the history of the national park. In this area, you will also be able to see hyraxes, which are the elephant's closest relatives.

It is difficult to describe in detail all the animals of the Serengeti, for they number in the thousands. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, buffalos, ostriches, giraffes, jackals, hyenas, lions, antelopes, leopards and cheetahs, and enjoy the nature around you.

In the evening, you will be transferred to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

You will wake up at 5:45 am for an early breakfast and see the sunrise. Go on an early-morning game drive until 11:30 when you head back to the campsite for a hot lunch and to pack your stuff into the Jeep. You will then proceed with a game drive inside the park while heading to Simba Campsite in the Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara

Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara

You will wake up at around 05h30 for breakfast whereafter you will descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor where you will be able to see all of the Big Five. You will also see many different types of birds as well as black rhinos inside the crater. You will have your lunch inside the crater while watching nature and the high concentrations of flamingos.

After the 6 to 7-hour game drive on the crater floor, you will start ascending the crater. Pass through the campsite to pack your luggage into the Jeep, and get ready for your drive back to fanaka Lodge for dinner and overnight. After the crater tour, you will have a walking tour in Mto wa Mbu village where you will experience how the local people live, see banana plantations and you can also taste the local food.

Lake Manyara to Arusha

Lake Manyara to Arusha

You will head to Lake Manyara for a full-day game drive inside the park. You will be able to see the tree-climbing lions and a lot of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. You will also visit a hot spring and a Maasai boma where you will see how they live and learn about their culture and traditions. Later, you will drive back to Arusha.

After breakfast and begin you journey to Materuni village in the slopes of Kilimanjaro. A remarkable village in the absence of common tourist trapping, it’s a great opportunity know and understand the Tanzanian culture. You will begin with a walk into a coffee plantation in Materuni. acquiring knowledge on how coffee is grown and even participating in roasting, pounding and grinding your own coffee. You then head to Materuni Waterfalls. Your walk takes you through local fruits and vegetation plantation and you will not only have a chance to learn about the local culture but also participate in some of the local activities. Conclude your day trip with cool and refreshing dip in the materuni waterfall pool and an appetizing lunch.. swimming You will not only spend some time swimming in the pleasantly warm water but also swinging on the rope swing, relaxing in the sun-dappled shade of the trees. After your done with your exciting time in the sunshine, you will head back to your hotel.
