After breakfast, our representative will pick you up and drive you to Lake Mburo National Park, you will pass through the small towns and varying vegetation of Uganda.

You will Make a stopover at the Equator line for photos some informative talks, and water confirmatory experiments to prove the existence of the equator.

Day 3

Transfer To Lake Bunyonyi

Transfer To Lake Bunyonyi

After enjoying a sumptuous breakfast, your driver guide will take you from Lake Mburo National Park to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale District. Lake Bunyonyi is one of the three lava-dammed lakes in Uganda.

It was formed when lava from one of the volcanoes blocked a river channel, causing the water to flow back and fill the space, creating Lake Bunyonyi.

The name "Bunyonyi" means "small birds" in the local language, which reflects the abundance of small birds in the area.

Lake Bunyonyi is not only the deepest lake in Uganda, but also the second deepest in East Africa. The locals have many traditional beliefs attached to this stunning lake.

During your visit, you will have the option to enjoy a boat cruise or kayak on Lake Bunyonyi. You will also have the opportunity to visit the legendary Batwa Pygmies and hike up the terraced Kigezi hills to enjoy a panoramic view of the many islands on the lake. Day 4

Transfer To Mgahinga National Park

You will take a mid-morning drive to Mgahinga National Park and arrive just in time for Lunch, and later check-in at the Lodge.

Your afternoon will be spent having the Batwa cultural trail experience at Garama Crave, a walk that will expose you to other attractions in the park before returning to your hotel overnight.

The Batwa or ‘Twa people are one of the last groups of short-statured people and are also known as ‘pygmies’, Until the Mgahinga Montane forest area was gazetted a National Park, they lived a hunter-gatherer lifestyle in the forest.

The Batwa lived in harmony with the forest and its creatures, including the mountain gorillas, for millennia.
Some anthropologists estimate that pygmy communities such as the Batwa have existed in the equatorial forests of Africa for 60,000 years or more.

Golden Monkey Tracking

After having an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the Park headquarters to register and meet with other participants for a briefing on dos and don’ts during your Uganda Golden Monkey Trekking Tour. After the briefing, you will trek through the montane forest of Mountain Mgahinga National Park with your ranger guides to find the beautiful Golden Monkeys. This trek can take anywhere from half an hour to three-quarters of the day.

Along the way, you will have the chance to encounter various wildlife, including different bird and tree species. Your guide will provide information to make the trek enjoyable. Once you find the Golden Monkeys, you will have one hour to take pictures of them before returning to your lodge to relax.

On this day you will go for a morning walking safari experience along the local villages in Kisoro right up to Lake Mutanda where you will hop onto a motorized dug-out canoe for a 2-hour ride on the lake, you will end the ride by having lunch at lake Mutanda resort after which you will be transferred to your overnight lodge located close to Bwindi in the late afternoon.

After an early morning breakfast, you will embark on game drives in the Kasenyi plains to view the wildlife. You will have the opportunity to see large herds of Buffalos, Antelopes, Uganda Kobs, and Warthogs. With a stroke of luck, you may even spot the lions and leopards. The game drive will culminate at a cliff with a breathtaking view of Lake Bunyampaka, a salt lake.

On this day, your itinerary begins with a drive to Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru, located near Fort Portal town. Upon arrival, you will embark on a brief hike into the caves accompanied by a local guide. The guide will take you through the fascinating folklore about this place, which is linked to the present-day Tooro kingdom and its people.

Afterward, you will be transferred to Chimpanzee Forest Lodge. Upon check-in, you will have the opportunity to explore the surrounding area. Start your day with an energizing breakfast, then head straight to the Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for registration. Join other trekkers for a briefing on the dos and don'ts of the Uganda Chimpanzee Trekking Tour before embarking on a trek through the tropical rainforest of Kibale Forest National Park. Your ranger guides will take you on a journey to search for chimpanzees, which can take anywhere from half an hour to three-quarters of the day.

Once you find the chimpanzees, you observe and photograph them for an hour before returning to the park headquarters for debriefing and awarding certificates. After having an early breakfast, you will begin your journey from your lodge to Murchison National Park. During the 6-7 hour drive, you will pass through Fort Portal town where you will enjoy stunning views of lush green tea plantations. Your route will take you through Kyenjojo to Hoima town where you will stop for a delicious lunch at Hoima Culture Lodge.

The entry to Murchison National Park will be through Bugungu gate, which will provide you with a breathtaking view of Lake Albert as you descend into the western rift valley along the famous Bunyoro escarpment.

The drive from the gate will offer you the opportunity to spot wildlife from the comfort of your safari jeep, such as Hartebeest, Waterbuck, Uganda Kob, and many others, making it feel like a mini game drive.
