On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) which caters for domestic flights, you will be met by Lulu Safaris Uganda representative who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. overnight will be at the booked lodge awaiting for the start of your adventure safari the following day.

Day 2

Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Early breakfast will be served at the lodge, thereafter we depart for Tarangire National Park. The Park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. In places, the vegetation is quite dense, including elephant grass, acacia woodlands and. The Park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffe, bushbuck and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions, Cheetah and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire National Park than anywhere else on the planet. Home to Tanzania's largest population of elephants, Tarangire is the best place to see these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Late afternoon continue drive to Ngorongoro highlands for dinner and overnight at Eileen's Tree In.

Early breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and on to Serengeti National Park with game viewing drive en-route. Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back. Serengeti is truly home of the legendary Wildebeest Migration. The Serengeti National Park is where safari-goers come to truly experience an African safari. Late afternoon drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight at Embalakai Camp.

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game viewing drive en-route in the Serengeti National Park. A packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. The Serengeti National Park is where safari-goers come to truly experience an African safari. The park is featured on many National Geographic shows, the park is rich with wildlife, endless plains and sunrises and sunsets that make the heart go wild. The park is known for its huge wildlife populations. White-bearded wildebeest, zebras and gazelle migrate annually during the great migration from the plains of the Serengeti in Tanzania to the grasslands of the Maasai Mara in Kenya in search of fresh grass. It is also the home of the big cats, lions, cheetahs and Leopards. You will arrive at your accommodation late afternoon for dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge.

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing drive. The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world and is a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the 8th wonders of the world. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most famous sites and is said to have the highest density of wildlife in Africa. The Crater has achieved world renown, attracting an ever-increasing number of visitors each year. You are unlikely to escape other vehicles here, but you are guaranteed great wildlife viewing in a genuinely mind-blowing environment. There is nowhere else in Africa quite like Ngorongoro where one is guaranteed on seeing the endangered black Rhino, large prides of lions, herds of wildebeests and zebras as well as elephants, buffalos and hippos! Late afternoon continue short drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Eileen's Tree Inn..

Day 7

Lake Manyara to Arusha

Lake Manyara to Arusha

Early morning after breakfast, we depart to Lake Manyara National Park which is an un-spoilt paradise and is best known for its abundance of birds and tree-climbing lions. The dramatic western escarpment of the Rift Valley forms the Park’s western border. To the east is the shallow, alkaline Lake Manyara. The lake covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of flamingos during the rains. The name Manyara comes from the Maasai word ‘Manyara’, a popular plant which is used to build the protective enclosure around a family homestead (boma). The Park’s vegetation is diverse, ranging from savannah to evergreen forest. On your exploration of the park, you may see giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant and if you are lucky; lions lounging in the trees. After Lunch and an extensive game drive, late afternoon drive back to Arusha in time for your flight back home or for a flight to your next destination.
