The tour begins in Nairobi. Your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or airport and set off toward Lake Naivasha. Along the way, you'll stop at the Mau Escarpment viewpoint, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Rift Valley floor, Lake Naivasha, and Mount Longonot—perfect for photo opportunities! You'll then continue descending to Lake Naivasha, arriving around noon, with plenty of time for check-in and lunch.

In the afternoon, you'll embark on a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you'll encounter a wealth of freshwater marine life, including various bird species, hippos, and the occasional grazers along the shores. Your boat guide will share insights into the lake's economic significance to the local community and its crucial role in biodiversity.

As evening approaches, you'll return to shore, and your driver-guide will drop you off for a relaxing evening, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Depart Lake Naivasha for Masai Mara NR

On this day, you’ll enjoy an early breakfast before checking out. Your journey will begin with a visit to Hell’s Gate National Park for a scenic drive. Though the park has a low concentration of wildlife, mostly herbivores, its striking landscapes are the main attraction. You’ll encounter impressive rock formations, towering cliffs, water-carved gorges, rugged volcanoes, and clouds of geothermal steam. The name "Hell's Gate" reflects the intense geothermal activity within the park, which even includes a naturally heated geothermal spa.

Afterward, you'll continue your drive toward the Masai Mara, arriving at Mara Sopa in time for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, as the temperature cools, we’ll head out on a game drive, led by our experienced driver-guide. With an over 80% chance of seeing the Big Five, you’re in for an exciting adventure. As the sun sets, return to Mara Sopa for a relaxing evening, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Afterward, you'll drive back to Nairobi with an afternoon drop-off at your hotel or the airport. There will be a stop along the way for lunch or refreshments (cost not included in the package). As the journey comes to an end, you'll leave with unforgettable memories of your safari experience.
