"Welcome to our exciting safari adventure! We're thrilled to have you join us on this journey. Our experienced guide will pick you up from your guest house or lodge in either Entebbe, Kampala, or Entebbe International Airport if you arrive early in the morning.
Get ready for a thrilling 8-9 hour drive to Mgahinga National Park in southwestern Uganda. Along the way, we'll pass through vibrant local communities and towns, giving you a glimpse into Uganda's rich culture and traditions. Take in the breathtaking scenery of the Kigezi region's cascading hills and rolling landscapes.
We'll make a stop at the equator, where you can capture unforgettable photos and experience the thrill of standing on both sides of the world simultaneously. Enjoy a delicious lunch in Mbarara, sampling local cuisine.

Embark on an unforgettable journey through the lush Mgahinga rainforest, searching for the majestic mountain gorillas. The duration varies from 30 minutes to several hours, but the scenic beauty and diverse wildlife will keep you engaged.
When you finally meet the gorillas, enjoy a thrilling one-hour encounter, observing and capturing moments with these incredible creatures. This is a truly magical experience!
After the trek, receive a certificate acknowledging your participation in gorilla trekking and contribution to mountain gorilla conservation.
Return to your lodge for relaxation and leisure. Take a stroll around Kisoro town, soaking in the local atmosphere.

Embark on a thrilling hike, accompanied by porters (if needed) and an enforcement officer (for safety). Be prepared to encounter wild buffaloes and elephants, and follow the swift golden monkeys as they forage for food. Witness their agility and speed as they feed on bamboo shoots, fruits, vegetation, and even ants!
Spend a captivating hour observing these rare creatures, taking in their fascinating behavior and unique characteristics.

Return to Kampala or Entebbe

After a delightful breakfast, bid farewell to the majestic Mgahinga National Park and embark on a 9-10 hour drive back to Kampala or Entebbe for your post-tour accommodation.
Alternatively, you may choose to depart Uganda on the same day, flying out from Entebbe International Airport.
During the drive, enjoy a few leisurely stopovers at scenic spots along the same route taken on your arrival, recapping the memorable experiences from your tour.
