Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park Via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, you will be picked by our guide at 8:00am local time and start your safari with a drive to Murchison Falls national park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola, the only place to see white Rhinos in Uganda. You will meet well-trained rangers for briefing and after guide you through the sanctuary to where the rhinos are feeding or resting. White Rhinos have been re-introduced in Uganda and you will get the opportunity to watch these endangered, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. After tracking Rhinos, you will go for lunch and later transfer to the legendary Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s biggest National Park. Pass by the greatest Murchison falls with thundering waters forming a rain bow and have an opportunity to take memorable pictures. Overnight at Nkundwa Nile View lodge.

Early morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

Have parked breakfast and transfer to the northern sector of the park for a 3 hours game drive experience. An early rise can reward us with luck to see large herds of giraffes, buffaloes, and elephants, various antelope species, warthogs, hippos, bush bucks plus a variety of bird species among others and on a lucky day will spot lions and leopards. Have our lunch and relaxation at the delta before being driven to the Nile for a 2 hour boat cruise. You will encounter a variety of water and land animals and birds including hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes as they rest on the banks plus notable birds like African fish eagle, Cormorants, Geese, Pelicans, Egrets, king fisher and many others. There is also hiking at the top of the falls that takes at least 50 minutes to one hour. Return to the lodge for relaxation and you may also decide to do a night game drive where a lot surprises awaits especially the nocturnal animals. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge on full board.
