Departure from Kampala to Bwindi Forest National Park

On this Day we hope your Flight is very early in the morning before 10:00am and where We shall assign you a Mantis Africa Safari Guide who will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport and transfer you to Bwindi Forest, you will head out to the South Western part of Uganda which is the home of the last remaining mountain gorillas. This is a 7-9 hour road transfer all depending on factors of influence en-route. You will pass via the Equator to have lunch. After lunch, you will head out further to arrive at your hotel which you will settle in for the night and dinner.

Gorilla Trekking Encounter Experience

Wake up to an incredible day to begin your Hike inside the Bwindi Forest National Park begin your trek at 8:00hrs with a briefing. You will set out to begin the trek into the forest searching for the Mountain Gorillas for about -/+6hrs and be given an opportunity to spend 1hr with these beautiful wild animals enjoying them, taking non flash photos and videos and once you are done, you will connect back to the base. You may have your packed lunch or a late lunch at the hotel as you will advise. Back at the lodge, relax and in the evening we shall visit the Batwa community for the cultural experience in Bwindi.
And in the afternoon you head to Lake Bunyonyi to relax, and dinner in the evening.

Road transfer back to Entebbe/Kampala

Breakfast will be served early and embark on your journey back to Kampala with lunch en-route in Mbarara town or Masaka.
You will also make a stopover at Equator at Kayabwe for water experiments and photographs, Royal drum Village at Mpambire for souvenirs. Proceed to Kampala for drop off at your hotel or continue for drop-off at Entebbe airport for your flight back home.
