Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today after early breakfast at 6:00 am, your safari guide from Peak Cruise Safaris will come to pick you up from your hotel or at the airport and head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in South Western Uganda. You will have a stopover at the equator for a photo moment and a break before you proceed to Bwindi Forest. You will have en route lunch in Mbarara.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is famous for gorilla tracking of the endangered mountain gorillas. There are about 880 mountain gorillas that live in the whole world and half of them call Uganda home. Mountain gorillas cannot live in a zoo and the only chance you have to see them is by signing up for this safari or other Uganda wildlife safaris.
Coming up close and personal with the gentle giant mountain gorillas is a breath-taking experience, a once-in-a-while experience
You will get to the lodge in time for dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today is the day you have been waiting for. You will wake up early, and have a good breakfast. Your guide will then transfer you to the park offices where you will be briefed about the dos and don’ts of gorilla tracking and what to expect on your gorilla tracking adventure.
Gorilla tracking can take place from 1 hour to 8 hours depending on where they nested the previous night. Coming face to face with the kingdom of mountain gorillas is very exciting, and an experience like no other. Spending one hour with the gorillas will be life-changing, an adventure you will never forget. We advise you to take as many photos as you can but to also spare a moment to just take in the moments. You will only be with the gorillas for one hour, at a distance of 7 meters to avoid contact.
After your trek, you will have lunch in the forest then return to the park offices for a ‘small ceremony’
Your guide will be waiting to transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
