Johannesburg to Entabeni Private Game Reserve

Today, you are met by your private transfer guide at a pre-determined meetup time.

After the meet and greet early in the morning, you are on your way at around to the picturesque Waterberg Mountains and Waterberg Biosphere Reserve situated in Limpopo Province.

Today, the drive will be about 3 to 4 hours (depending on the road and weather conditions).

Upon arrival at your accommodation for the night, lunch will be ready after which you have some time to check in at the lodge. This afternoon you'll have an open safari vehicle game drive within this Private Big Five Game Reserve. During the game drive, you will be able to spot some of the numerous species that could be found in this beautiful wildlife reserve.
Remember your time here is spent in a Big Five territory so chances of seeing these incredible animals are very good.

After a sundowner drink somewhere at a nice location in the bush, you'll make your way back to the lodge for your evening dinner prepared by the in-house chef.

Entabeni Private Game Reserve

Awaking early to the sounds of the bush, you'll have a quick cup of coffee or tea with some traditional South African rusks, after which you'll head out on your early morning safari.

Waking up early means that you get the chance to see the animals while they are still active or busy hunting before they go to rest during the heat of the day. After an extensive morning drive, you'll return to the lodge to enjoy a delicious well-catered breakfast.

After breakfast —for those who want —you will experience a walking safari in Big Five territory.

The aim of this walk is not to encounter the big animals but to focus on the smaller things and to learn more about how everything in nature fits together.

After lunch (own expense) there will be some time for a siesta.

In the late afternoon when it starts to cool down again, you will head out on your afternoon safari and head in a different direction in search of some other animals and species you haven’t seen yet.

Waterberg back to Johannesburg

Your last morning as you head out for the last time on your early morning safari hoping to catch a glimpse of something special. You will spend another 3 hours or so on safari in search of these magnificent animals.

Upon arrival back at the lodge, you'll have a relaxing, substantial breakfast after which we will check out and make your way back to Johannesburg via shuttle transfer.

We aim to be back in Jhb anytime from 2:00 pm.
