Gorilla trekking day- Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Immediately after your early morning breakfast with your picnic-packed lunch box, you will head to the Park headquarters to register and join other guests for a briefing about the do’s and the don’ts for this activity. Gorilla Trekking starts at exactly 8:00 am. You will enter the forest and trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides, and porters to find the Gorillas, which can take you about 1 hour to a maximum of 7 hours. The steeply forested landscape of the park is extraordinarily dense and is rich with several animal tracks allowing access to tourists. You will have an opportunity to be within meters of these magnificent apes, sharing in their daily lives and experiencing their day to day activities. Mountain Gorilla are extremely rare with only an estimated 880 remaining in the world. This is an experience you won’t soon forget.

Also Mountain Gorillas are wild animals and as such, sightings cannot be guaranteed. However, viewing success rates are over 90%.
