On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, Ganyana safari driver/guide will meet and greet you and then transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe in order for you to relax after the long journey. Enjoy the cool breeze of the lake as you relax at your hotel.

Transfer to Gulu via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

A Ganyana safari driver/guide will pick you up from the hotel very early in the morning then Enjoy a stopover at Nakasongola where you will have lunch then transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, an asylum for the rhinos. Enjoy a glimpse of the white rhinos alongside some birding around the vicinity. Later continue on the road to Gulu to your hotel for relaxation and dinner.

Transfer to Kidepo National Park, Kidepo is Uganda’s most isolated national park, but the few who make the long journey north through the wild frontier region of Karamoja would agree that it is also the most magnificent, for Kidepo ranks among Africa’s finest wildernesses. From Apoka, in the heart of the park, a savannah landscape extends far beyond the gazetted area, towards horizons outlined by distant mountain ranges. Later enjoy a game drive and transfer to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Game drive and cultural visit

Head for a Game drive and a cultural walk. Drive extensively up to Kanangorok Hot Springs and brace yourself for photo opportunities and chances of catching sight of more wildlife especially lions sitting on the rocks as they scan the park for possible prey. In the afternoon, head out for a cultural tour to the Karamojong people for a truly unique experience. Later head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Set off for a morning game drive on the Northern Delta Nile with sightings of Lions, buffalos, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeest, Rothschild’s giraffe, oribi and baboons are some of the animals to expect. Chimpanzee trekking and bigodi swamp walk

Our day starts with an early breakfast before meeting our tour guide for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking in the Kibale forest. We'll then head off on foot to track the chimpanzees of Kibale National Park, home of an impressive 500 chimpanzees. The dense jungles are considered the best place to view chimpanzees in Africa. The chimpanzees are commonly found feeding on fig tree fruits in the game park. The guided walk offers a great opportunity to learn more about chimpanzees and other primates along with the various creatures of the jungle. Later head out for the famous Bigodi Nature walk. Head back to the lodge for relaxation and later on enjoy a campfire.

You will stopover at Lake Katwe, Lake Katwe is known throughout Uganda and the East African region for its substantial salt production and has been producing high quality salt for many years. Gorilla tracking begins at 8:00a m. The trek length varies depending on where the gorillas spent the night, ranging from 30 minutes to 7 hours, once you the gorilla family, you will spend one hour with them, observing them feed, socialize and display their prowess. Start your journey back to Entebbe passing through rolling hills with terraces and also you will have a great time viewing the lush vegetation of the different areas you will go through. Have a stopover at the Equator line in Kayabwe. You will explore the swamp in search of the infamous Shoebill Stork, Enjoy a city tour of Entebbe.
