After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive you to Tarangire National Park for a game drive and picnic lunch.

Tarangire National Park is named for the Tarangire River that crosses through it. The park is famous for its big herds of elephants, huge baobab trees and high numbers of predators. There is a plethora to see and explore here!

Day 2

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Today you’re off to the famous Serengeti National Park, home of the great migration. Your drive today is spectacular as you drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim for a bird's eye view of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. You will continue on, as you crest the hillside spread out before you, as far as the eyes can see, is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti means “endless plains” in Kiswahili. This 6,900sq mile (18,000sq km) park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals including more than a million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles. Large predators including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey that migrates throughout the park. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Matawi Serengeti Camp.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will go for an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park following the animal migration. At the Northern Serengeti where the migration will be, you will be able to see millions of wildebeests, zebras, hartebeests, elands, antelopes, hyenas, and varieties of birds singing on the trees. You'll also be viewing the beauty of landscape and nature. After having your lunch, you will continue with a game view in Serengeti heading to the gate of Serengeti to check out of Serengeti National Park. Afterwards, you will proceed with the game on route heading to Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 4

Today after breakfast, you will descend the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as a Wonder of the World. This is the world's largest caldera full of grassland, forest, and swamp, a setting of jaw-dropping beauty. The permanent water of the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals. Here, you will find many reasons why you chose to do a safari in Tanzania. Lions, waterbucks, hippos, baboons, black rhinos, leopards, hyenas, jackals, buffalos, warthogs, gazelles, and many more shelters here.

The Maasai share this awesome space with wild animals and their cattle. This area has been a separate conservation area since 1956 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978. In this harmonious co-habitation of man and beast, you will experience a game drive. You will break for a picnic lunch and at midday, ascend from the crater and drive toward Arusha. Later, you will be transferred to the airport.
