Johannesburg to Balule Game Reserve

Travel from Johannesburg in an air-conditioned tour vehicle to Tremisana Game Lodge, located in the Balule Game Reserve which falls within the Greater Kruger. Settle into your chalet and relax until it’s time to depart in the late afternoon for a 3-hour sunset game drive in the private reserve. Enjoy a starlit dinner at Marula Tree Boma which is set deep in the bushveld.

Greater Kruger National Park

Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks before setting off to a remote corner of Balule Game Reserve for a 4-hour guided bush walk along the Olifants River with an armed ranger. Enjoy the sights and sounds of a real bushveld experience while keeping a keen eye on the thick bush for the Big Five and an abundance of antelopes, predators and indigenous birds.

Return to Tremisana Game Lodge for a late breakfast and refreshments. Relax around the lodge until it’s time to depart for the late-afternoon game drive.

Wake up early and join your guide for your last game drive in Balule Game Reserve. Enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing mid-morning for the return journey to Johannesburg, travelling via the famous Panorama Route. Arrive in Johannesburg in the late afternoon - at approximately 17h00.
