Johannesburg to Hazyview

Departing from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport at 7:00am, you will travel east through the farmlands and onto the Kruger National Park.

Arriving at the Kruger Adventure Lodge located in Hazyview, only 15min drive away from the Kruger National Park's Phabeni Gate, there is time to check into your en-suite, air-conditioned accommodation (chalet or tent, depending on availability when booking), freshen up and depart on your first open vehicle safari drive in the Kruger National Park. This safari drive will take around 2 to 2.5 hours.

Kruger National Park

Following an early wake-up call, there will be time for tea or coffee and rusks before departing for a full-day (6:00am to 3:30pm) open vehicle safari in the Kruger National Park. Brunch is included along the route, and your guide will also stop so you can purchase refreshments during the day.

Panorama Route

Breakfast is served at the lodge before departing on a full tour of the Panorama Route. The Panorama Route is home to the third-largest canyon in the world and the largest vegetated canyon in the world. The 8-hour tour takes you to sites such as Gods Window, Bourkes Luck Potholes, the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Graskop, Pilgrims rest, and one of the numerous waterfalls along the route.

Lunch is on your account at one of the many stops along the route.

After a full day of scenic wonders, you will return to the lodge for a welcoming cold beverage and dinner.

Kruger National Park to Johannesburg

You wake up early again and depart on an optional sunrise safari drive in the open safari vehicle.

Alternatively, you can enjoy the morning at the lodge before departing from Hazyview at noon for your return transfer to Johannesburg. You will arrive at Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport between 5:00pm and 6:00pm.
