Nairobi-Maasai Mara Game Reserve

3 days Kenya budget safari starts with a scheduled pick-up from Nairobi at the airport or Hotel, introduction to the group, and the driver guide at our departure Zone, Mama Ngina Street, Nairobi. Drive via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to witness the escarpment wall, take photos and get a briefing about the formation of the escarpment wall. Descent the escarpment wall and drive to Narok town for hot lunch and final shopping. The safari deepens to Masai mara game reserve arriving at Miti Mingi Eco Camp in the late afternoon. Evening enjoys at least 2-3 hours introductory game viewing till you witness the sunset, return to the campsite for dinner, bonfire, and overnight.

Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After a hefty buffet breakfast in the Camp you will embark on a game viewing drive in search for wild animals. You will drive to the famous Mara River in search of hippos and crocodiles; here, if your visit falls between July and September, you will witness The Great Migration of the Wildebeest from Serengeti plains to Masai Mara through Mara River. This annual event was named as one of the Seven New Wonders of the World. Enroute you will also see the Kenya-Tanzania border that marks one side of the Mara Triangle. You will have your lunch in the park and proceed on a game drive probably in search of animals not seen so far. Dinner, entertainment and overnight as directly above (Full board).

Maasai Mara National Reserve-Nairobi

You will be woken up at around 6.00am to embark on an early morning game drive(optional) and then return to the camp for breakfast. This is the best time to have game drives since the animals both nocturnal and diurnal are active before the sun sends them off under the shades. After your hefty breakfast you will load you luggage into the vans bid Masai Mara “Kwaheri” good bye and proceed to Nairobi to arrive in the afternoon. You will be dropped at your hotel or anywhere in CBD or Airport.
