Nairobi (JKIA) - Maasai Mara National Reserve

Today you will be picked up from the airport or from your hotel and you will be given pre-departure meeting at your hotel or at the Airport in your car ready for safaris. This always depend on your preference choice of pick up. Then followed by drive through the view point of the Great Rift Valley escarpment to the Narok county the land of Maa people. Maasai Mara national reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. The boarder intercounty boarders are what has spilt the two great National Park. Arrive for lunch at the Lodge/camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

On the second day, you will wake up. Have your morning breakfast ready to be served. Today, you will enjoy a full-day game drive in the reserve, with your picnic lunch. Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Mara Triangle bordering the Mara River with lush grassland and acacia woodlands, this is always good for game drive. The Mara is perhaps best known for the Great Migration, which takes place every year July to September. During these months the yellow savannah is dotted black by more than 1.5 million wildebeest, zebra and antelopes that migrate from the Serengeti to the Mara in search of food and water.

Amboseli National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru via Nairobi. You will ascend the eastern wall of the Rift Valley where lush coffee and tea plantations reveal themselves and your driver-guide will give you a brief talk about coffee farming in Kenya. You will have a short stop-over at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photographs and then proceed with your drive to arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for lunch. After lunch, you will set for a game drive in the park in searches of the big five animals like a lion, rhino, leopard and cheetah, and more other animals. Lake Nakuru is famous for its millions of flamingoes and migrant birds from over the world; in Nakuru, we have up to 425 different bird species. Accommodation Wagon Wheel hotel.
