Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your driver guide will pick you up from the airport or your hotel and introduce themselves. After a briefing about your safari, you will depart for the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve.

You will have a brief stop to take photos at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, after which you will continue the drive to Mara, arriving in time for lunch.

After lunch, you will relax at Loyk Mara Camp before heading out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. You will return in time for dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.

Explore the Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will leave the camp for a full-day game drive in the reserve, with lunch provided. Your focus for the day will be on spotting the Big Five and other wildlife.

A major highlight of this experience is the wildebeest migration, which occurs from July to early October. This incredible event, often called the world's eighth wonder, is the largest animal migration globally.

You will return to the camp in time for dinner and a restful night's sleep.

Masai Mara Game Drive

In the early morning, you will embark on a game drive in the reserve, searching for wildlife, including the Big Five. After the drive, you will return to the camp for breakfast. The rest of the morning is yours to enjoy as you wish. Have lunch at the camp, then take time to relax during the early part of the afternoon. Later in the day, you will go on another game drive in the reserve. Afterward, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

You will depart from the camp for Nairobi after breakfast. Expect to arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, where you can enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice. On this day, you can also consider optional activities such as visiting the giraffe center, an animal orphanage, exploring a boma in Kenya, or having dinner at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. Afterward, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport to catch your next flight.
