1-Day Tour to Thompson Falls in Nyahururu & Equator Line

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Pick up from JKIA airport or your accommodation at 0700hrs.

Depart for the Equator line driving through Thika Super highway with breath-taking views of the pineapple country side of Thika. In 3 hours you get where the Northern Hemisphere & Southern Hemisphere begin. Here a fascinating phenomenon known as the Coriolis effect occurs. If you are on the southern hemisphere, the water moves in an anti-clockwise manner while on the north, e the water moves clockwise. If, on the equator itself, the water shows no movement. The locals here are always eager to set up this experiment for you.

After the demonstration you will visit the scenic Thomson's falls; 243 feet high (74 Meters) along the Ewaso Nyiro river which drains from the Aberdare ranges.

You can see the falls from the top at their view point, but with an adventurous spirit you may descend for a closer look. After the tour at the falls you may break for lunch on self arrangement.

You thereafter embark on your trip back to Nairobi.
