Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
You'll be picked up early in the morning and driven to Lake Nakuru National Park. En route, you will pass through the Great Rift Valley which was formed by violent subterranean forces that tore apart the earth's crust. These forces caused huge chunks of the crust to sink between parallel fault lines and force up the molten rock in volcanic eruptions. You will pass through Lake Naivasha for your lunch, boat ride and walking safari. Lake Nakuru National Park is also known for its hundreds of thousands of flamingoes, and a rhino sanctuary harbouring a population of black and white rhinos. But the flamingoes, have always been the main attraction. At times there may be almost 1 million flamingoes in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore.

Heading to Masai Mara National Reserve
After Breakfast, you will enjoy a mid-morning game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park, also known for its thousands of flamingoes, and a rhino sanctuary harbouring a population of black and white rhinos.
After the game drive, we head to Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara forms part of the vast Serengeti plains which plays host to a chapter of the famous wildebeest migration. Wildebeests, zebras and antelopes cross the swollen Mara River in hopes of finding safety on the Masai Mara's sweeping plains. A safari in Masai Mara is an unforgettable highlight of any holiday in Kenya and without a doubt, a great destination in Africa.
At 5:00pm, Masai Morans will pick you up from your accommodation and guide you on a walking safari as you head for a cultural visit to some of the old communities that exist.
Later, head back to the lodge/camp, freshen up, and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner.

A Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, we will have a full-day game drive, with packed lunch provided, or a morning and afternoon game drive. This reserve is well known for its black-maned lion, as well as its abundant resident wildlife. It's one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during one game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tamed that they seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 400 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagle, many hawks and falcons, 5 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 of bustard (including the kori bustard) and many more.
