Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park

You will be met by our representative for a tour briefing at JKIA airport or your Nairobi hotel in the morning. Start the 3 hour journey to Lake Nakuru National park. An easy scenic sightseeing drive via the great rift valley escarpment with views of awesome scenery. There shall be stops to marvel at the dramatic fall of the great rift valley escarpment. Later proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. Due to some progressive natural factors like increasing water levels, the flamingo numbers have been reducing but the park itself remains stunning – one of Kenya’s finest. Afternoon shall be spent on bird and game watching drives around the Lake. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge on full board basis.

Final Game Drive and Departure + Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi

Early morning game drive. Return to the Lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will begin your 3 hour journey back to the city with game viewing en-route in the park. Upon arrival in Nairobi you will stop at the famous carnivore restaurant for lunch. The Carnivore is justifiably referred to as Africa's Greatest Eating Experience. It is an amazing open- air meat restaurant that has a strikingly different food service and atmosphere to any other restaurant in Kenya. Whole joints of meat- legs of lamb and pork, haunches of exotic meat, rumps of beef, sirloins, racks of lamb, spareribs, sausages, chicken wings, skewered kidneys, even crocodile, and other tasty morsels-are roasted on traditional Maasai swords over a huge, visually spectacular charcoal pit that dominates the entrance of the restaurant. Vegetarian meals are also available. After lunch you will be dropped at your Nairobi hotel for a deserved rest.
