Today our guide will pick you up in the morning from your hotel in Arusha. The drive to Tarangire National Park will take about 2 hours. Enjoy the beautiful views of the local villages and Masaai herds on the way. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant population. You can also find many zebras, wildebeest, giraffes and even lions and cheetahs. We will have lunch at the picnic site in the park and in the afternoon we continue our game drive. At the end of the day we slowly drive out of the park and head to Marera Valley Lodge. Located on the outskirts of Karatu town about midway between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater. It has a beautiful view over the valley to the hills beyond.

Serengeti National Park
After breakfast we’re heading to the famous Serengeti. We will arrive at the gate around lunch time. The rest of the day we will be doing a game drive on the endless plains of this amazing park. In the evening you overnight at Serengeti Wildebeest Camp. This comfortable tented lodge is scenically located where sun-rise is your daily wake-up call and beautiful sun-set will always alert you to go to the camp fire or a sundowner.

Ndutu Area
After our hearty breakfast, we head out to enjoy a full day game drive in the Ndutu region. We endeavor to explore the range of different habitats found here that include swamps, woodland, soda lakes, and the world-famous Serengeti short grass plains. We will see the awesome sight of the great thronging herds of wildebeest and zebra. During a short time frame around January, normally lasting for about 3 weeks, the majority of the wildebeest calves, dropping in the region of half a million young in this awesome act of synchronized birthing. The sea of grass provides little cover and the young Wildebeest calves can run minutes after they are born and within 3 days they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd.
At the end of the day we retreat to Ndutu Wildland Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Morning Ndutu, afternoon Ngorongoro
The next day we will do a game drive in Ndutu Area through the morning and in the afternoon we’ll be heading to Ngorongoro Conservation area where we overnight at Ngorongoro Wild Camp which is beautifully located in the nature of the Ngorongoro Conservation area.

Ngorongoro Crater
Today we drive early into the amazing Ngorongoro crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. Approximately 25,000 large animals live in the crater. We will find many zebras, wildebeest, elephants and if we’re lucky even rhinos! In the afternoon we drive back to Arusha where your safari adventure will come to an end.
