Day 1

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

The safari starts from Arusha where your guide will come and pick you up from your reserved hotel and proceed to Tarangire National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch.

The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, which is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the dry season. The park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees and tree-climbing African pythons.

The exciting sounds of Africa will wake you from your sleep. You will make the most of the day by departing early in the morning with your picnic lunch and head off on a spectacular afternoon game viewing in Serengeti. Serengeti offers an exotic game-viewing experience in the whole of Africa giving you an up-close look at the animals. You will spot great herds of buffalos, smaller groups of elephants and giraffes, and thousands of elands, topis, kongonis, impalas and Grant’s gazelles.

The word Serengeti stems from the Maasai language and means endless plains. Many predators roam these vast grasslands; over 4000 lions, 225 cheetahs, 1000 leopards, 3500 hyenas and hundreds of wild dogs! And of course, plenty of other beautiful animals, which your guide will be delighted to search for together with you.

Day 3

Serengeti Central – Northern Serengeti National Park

You will have breakfast, collect lunch boxes and proceed for a game drive while heading to the Northern part of Serengeti National Park for the great wildebeest migration. You will move around the area of Bologonja and Mara River to witness the great wildebeest migration.

In Northern Serengeti around July to September, thousands of wildebeests and zebra battle the strong currents and huge Nile crocodiles to reach the other side of the river, where they head to the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.

Day 4

You will have breakfast, collect lunch boxes and proceed with a game drive in the Northern part of Serengeti National Park. Your driver /guide will make sure that he finds the best spot for you to witness the great wildebeest migration. After the game drive, you will proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a tasty breakfast, you will collect picnic lunches. Today, you will visit one of the seven African wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater, created when a huge volcano erupted two million years ago. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem. The crater has the highest concentration of animals anywhere in Africa. After the game drive, you will proceed to Arusha for drop-off at any location in Arusha.

The Ngorongoro Crater is home to many lion families, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests and many more species. Nowhere else offers a chance as good as this to spot the rare black rhinos.
