Guests are collected from OR Tambo International Airport or a pre-arranged hotel or guest lodge within the city precinct of Johannesburg or Pretoria. The route to the Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga Province takes you from the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld region.

Arrive at Kapama Private Game Reserve at midday, in time for a light lunch. Freshen up and relax before it’s time to depart on a late afternoon game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve.

Overnight at Kapama Southern Camp. Guests dine in the lodge restaurant or at the outdoor boma.

Wake up early (05h30 - 06h00) for hot beverages and rusks before departing for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve. Return to your lodge for a late breakfast and spend the rest of the day relaxing at the pool or treating yourself to a spa session. Depart in the late afternoon, after high tea, for a 3-hour sunset game drive in the private reserve with a pitstop for sundowners in the bush.
