Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

At 7.00am you will be picked from your Nairobi hotel or airport by our English speaking guide, who will brief you on the exciting safari you are about to embark on. Depart for Amboseli National Park that is approximately 5 hours from Nairobi. Arrive at Sentrim Amboseli Lodge in time for check in and lunch. After lunch, relax for a bit as you enjoy the lodge's facilities then head for an afternoon game drive till evening.

Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2

Game drives in Amboseli

After breakfast you will proceed for a full day game drive with packed lunch or you can choose to go for a morning game drive and return to the lodge for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive, depending on your preferences. The itinerary is flexible, and the driver guide will be readily available to discuss the day's schedule with you.

Amboseli national park is a home to a large concentration of wildlife estimated to be 80 different species including African elephant, African buffalo, impalas, lion, zebra, and wildebeest among other African animals, among the animals the park is more famous for habiting is a large population of elephants. The park is also home to over 400 species of birds.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 3

Amboseli - Olpejeta

06:00 - Have breakfast at your lodge and then head to Ol Pejeta conservancy

Drive through slopes of Mt. Kenya, cross the equator to Sweetwater's Game Sanctuary, arrive at Sweetwater's private ranch and rhino sanctuary.
Arrive in Sweetwaters shortly afternoon and check into your hotel, have hot lunch, and then have some time to rest.

15:30 - Depart for the afternoon game drive in search of Rhinos both white and Black rhinos and other wildlife.

Tour Sweetwater's Chimpanzee Sanctuary which is the only one of its kind in Kenya. Here visitors can enjoy the unique opportunity of observing the orphaned chimps that vary in age from 2-15 yrs.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of Man's closest relative.

It is also home to the last two of the Northern white Rhinos that remain in the world.

After the game drive, we head back to the hotel and freshen up to enjoy a freshly prepared dinner

Day 4

At 6:00 am, you will have breakfast and check out of the hotel.

You will then drive to Samburu Game Reserve, arriving at Samburu Simba Lodge in time for lunch and then have time to relax as you enjoy the lodge's amenities.

At 4pm, depart for an afternoon game drive.

Here we are in search of the elusive leopard and other wildlife, the highlight here is the special Samburu six. Which are the beisa oryx, gerenuk, defassa water buck, reticulated giraffe, grevy's zebra and somali ostrich.

At 6.30pm, you will return to the lodge, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner. Your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 5

Game drives in Samburu National Reserve

Samburu is located in a semi arid area and is quite hot hence most of the animals hide in the shade during the day to escape the hot sun and come out in the early mornings or evening. We therefore recommend you take advantage of the morning and afternoon game drives.

At 6am proceed for a morning game drive, then back to the lodge for breakfast. Relax from morning to mid afternoon as you take a dip in the lodge's pool.

At 4pm depart for an afternoon game drive. Afterwards return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6

Samburu to Lake Naivasha

Have breakfast, then head to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort

After lunch proceed for a boat ride on the lake.

Lake Naivasha is a beautiful lake full of birds and hippos. A boat ride on the lake is highly recommended. You will most likely spot hippos, herons, pelicans and dozens of other birds.

You will then return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart to lake Nakuru National Park with the breath taking views of the rift valley and arrive in time for lunch.

Lake Nakuru is famously known as a birders hub because of the numerous birds that make home in this park. Lake Nakuru national park is also a wild game destination for animal lovers and wildlife explores.

After lunch, relax a bit at the lodge and enjoy its amenities and then proceed for a game drive at 4 o'clock. Get to see different wildlife species including the several species of birds at lake Nakuru with the help of an experienced guide who will make your safari memorable.

18:30 - Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, proceed to the famous Masai mara which is mostly known as the world's 8th wonder and arrive in time for lunch. You will have your lunch and then relax a bit before embarking on an evening game drive. You will be able to spot several species of the wild including the big five.

You will later return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9

Mara - Mara

After Breakfast you can choose to go on a full-day game drive in the Mara. Between the game drives, there is the optional visit to the local Maasai village which can be conducted. The trees in the distance might turn out to be a family of giraffes. Those clumps of bushes could be a pride of lions and the rock that moves could be a rhino lumbering out of your way.

You could also encounter a herd of elephants crossing the path in front of you. Large animals are not the only entertainment a family of warthogs may amuse you running as fast as their little legs will carry them until they forget why they are rushing and stop to regroup.

OR

6:00 - Early morning game drive. Later return to your accommodation for breakfast and relax for the morning until mid afternoon.

16:00 - Depart for an afternoon game drive.

18:30- Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10

On this day you will have breakfast, then check out of the lodge and depart for Nairobi through the breathtaking views of the Great rift valley. You will be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or at the airport for your flight back home.
As well as the wildlife, the park is home to the tribe of Masai warriors. Their bravery is known the world over in their battles with the animals of the savanna, and they welcome you into the culture with traditional song and dance. You have a chance to witness their culture and visit a home to better know their extraordinary way of life. This visit is optional and there is an extra fee of US$30 applicable.
Optional activities on this day can be, half day city tour, cultural experience at the Bomas of Kenya and dinner at The Carnivore restaurant for exotic meals(to be paid direct).
