On day one of the eleven days Tanzania Mid-Range Tour, you will arrive in Arusha, a city located in the northern part of Tanzania, known as the gateway to many national parks and reserves. After arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, where you can rest and get ready for the exciting adventure ahead. You may also have some free time to explore the city and its local markets or enjoy some traditional Tanzanian cuisine.

Trip to Arusha Np
Arusha NPis a small but beautiful national park located just a few kilometers from Arusha town. The park is home to a wide range of wildlife species, including giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, and various antelopes. The park is also famous for its diverse birdlife and its three most prominent features; Mount Meru, Momella Lakes, and Ngurdoto Crater.
Upon arrival, visitors have the option to take a guided walking safari with an armed ranger or go on a game drive with a 4x4 vehicle. The walking safari provides a unique opportunity to get up close with the wildlife, while the game drive offers a chance to explore the park's diverse terrain.
Visitors can also choose to visit the Momella Lakes, a series of seven shallow lakes that provide a home to many bird species, including the pink flamingo.
After a full day exploring Arusha National Park, visitors return to their accommodations for dinner and a good night's rest, ready for the next day's adventures in Tarangire National Park.

Drive from Arusha Np to Tarangire Np
Welcome to Tarangire National Park, one of the largest and most spectacular national parks in Tanzania. Famous for its impressive herds of African elephants and its ancient baobab trees, this park is also home to tree-climbing pythons, lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
Your adventure will begin after breakfast when you meet our guide and office representative for a briefing about your safari. From there, you will embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, where you can admire the sweeping views of the grassland plains dotted with traditional Maasai houses and nomadic cattle herds. During your visit, you will have the chance to explore the park's stunning landscapes and get up close and personal with its magnificent wildlife. After a midday lunch break, you will continue your afternoon game drive before retiring to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Drive from Tarangire to Lake Manyara Np
Lake Manyara National Park is a must-visit destination for those who appreciate natural beauty, diverse birdlife, and the chance to spot tree-climbing lions. The park's alkaline soda lake is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. Lake Manyara National Park is relatively small compared to other Tanzanian parks due to its predominant lake coverage, but it offers incredible scenery and is a favorite for photographers and bird enthusiasts alike.
As part of your visit with WildReality Safari, you have the option to add a cultural tour of the nearby Mto wa Mbu village. Early morning after breakfast, you will depart from your hotel with WildReality Safari and proceed to Serengeti National Park, via the stunning landscape of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. If time permits, you may have a chance to stop at the Ndutu area. During the journey, you will have a lunch break and continue with an exciting game drive en-route to your accommodation, arriving in the evening.

Welcome to Serengeti National Park, one of the most iconic wildlife reserves in Africa. Serengeti is famous for the annual Great Wildebeest Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and other herbivores traverse the grassy plains in search of water and greener pastures. Drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, we will start our early morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park between 08:00 - 13:00 hrs. After the game drive, we will pack our lunches and head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, we will have a game drive en route to the conservation area. The scenic beauty of the region, coupled with the diverse wildlife, will make the journey an exciting one.

Crater Tour Back to Arusha Town
Ngorongoro Crater is a true gem in Tanzania, known as one of the most iconic landmarks in Africa. It is the world's largest unbroken caldera, an extinct volcano that collapsed millions of years ago, leaving behind a natural sanctuary that is home to a stunning variety of wildlife. You can expect to see the "Big Five" - lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes - as well as many other animals like wildebeest, gazelles, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and more than 400 species of birds. Starting with an early breakfast, you will embark on a full day game drive that will take you down over 600 meters into the crater. You will stop for a picnic lunch at the base of the crater, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Ngorongoro Highlands. After the tour, you will head back to Arusha.

Drive from Arusha to Mkomazi Np
On day ten of the eleven-day Tanzania Mid-Range Tour, there is a drive from Arusha to Mkomazi National Park. The drive takes you through the beautiful landscapes of Tanzania, passing through small towns and villages along the way.
As you approach Mkomazi National Park, you will be greeted by stunning views of the Usambara and Pare mountain ranges in the distance. Upon arrival at the park, you will check in at your lodge and have some time to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Mkomazi National Park is one of Tanzania's lesser-known national parks, but it offers a unique and rewarding wildlife experience. The park is home to a variety of species, including endangered black rhinos, African wild dogs, cheetahs, and giraffes. You will embark on a full day game drive through the park, exploring its diverse landscapes and spotting its wildlife.
After a full day of exploring Mkomazi National Park, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Departure
On day eleven of the Tanzania Mid-Range Tour, it is time for the departure of the guests. The tour ends with a transfer from the final destination, Mkomazi National Park, back to Arusha. Depending on the guest's travel arrangements, they can either continue their journey to other destinations or return home. The departing guests can take with them the unforgettable memories of the diverse wildlife, stunning landscapes, and rich culture that Tanzania has to offer.
