Johannesburg to Kruger National Park

Two shuttle buses, one at 6:45am and one at 10:45am, depart daily from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. It is a 5 - 6 hour drive from Johannesburg to Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park.

We will take the scenic route through the historic towns that make up the Panorama Route and arrive at Hoedspruit with scheduled stops for bathroom breaks and leg stretches.

We will arrive mid-day in the Mluwati Concession and check into Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge. We will enjoy a light meal at the lodge and freshen up before departing late afternoon for a game drive on an open safari vehicle. We will stop for sundowners at a special vantage point.

Finally, you will enjoy a 3-course dinner, set under the stars at the outdoor boma (weather dependent).

The package includes sundowner drinks and a 3-course dinner with local wines, beers, and soft drinks.

Sandwiched between an exciting early morning and late afternoon game drive, looking for Big Five in the Kruger National Park, it is time to relax and be pampered at Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge.

Enjoy tea and coffee before you depart for the sunrise game drive in an open safari vehicle and return to the lodge for a light, informal brunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing before leaving on the evening game drives. Sundowners will be served at a special vantage point, followed by a delicious 3-course dinner under the stars in the outdoor boma.

Kruger National Park to Johannesburg

Wake up early for tea and coffee and then depart for a sunrise safari tour of the Mluwati Concession. Before checking out your chalet, enjoy a light breakfast at Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge.

You will be driven to Hoedspruit mid-morning to catch the shuttle bus back to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.

Finally, depending on traffic, you will arrive in Johannesburg between 5:30pm and 6:00pm.
