Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
After a tasty early breakfast, you will collect picnic lunches and head off to visit one of the seven African wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater, created when a huge volcano erupted two million years ago. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem. The crater has the highest concentration of animals anywhere in Africa. It is home to lions, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, and many more species. Nowhere else offers a chance as good as this to spot the rare black rhino. After a great day in Ngorongoro Crater, your driver-guide will take you to Hhando Cofee Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park - Zanzibar
After breakfast, you’ll drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. This beautiful park with its lush vegetation and tropical forests of giant fig and mahogany trees takes its name from the Maasai word for “euphorbia tirucalli”, a bush that is used to make a thorny hedge to protect their cattle. Elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and antelopes inhabit the park as well as monkeys and a large population of hippos. If you are lucky, you may see the Manyara lions, well known for their tree-climbing habits, lazily resting on the branches of an “Acacia tortilis” tree. The birdlife is also abundant, with flamingoes, pelicans, hornbills, and plenty of forest species. After your game drive, you will be taken to Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
Note: This park can be replaced by Tarangire National Park.
