Johannesburg to Kruger National Park

There will be two shuttle buses departing each day from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg; at 6:45 am and 10:45 am.

It’s a 5-6 hour drive from Johannesburg to Imbali Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park. You will take the scenic route through the historic towns of the Panorama Route and to the town of Hoedspruit with scheduled stops for bathroom breaks and leg stretches.

You will arrive at mid-day in the Mluwati Concession and book into Imbali Safari Lodge. You will enjoy a light meal and freshen up before departing late afternoon for a game drive on an open safari vehicle. Sundowners are at a special vantage point.

Enjoy a 3-course dinner under the stars at the outdoor boma at Imbali Safari Lodge (weather dependent).

You will enjoy sundowner drinks and a 3-course dinner with local wines, beers and soft drinks.

Kruger National Park

This is a glorious day relaxing at the camp, sandwiched between early morning and late afternoon game drives with sundowners at a special vantage point.

Safaris are conducted on the private Mluwati Concession with unlimited access to the public roads of the Kruger National Park. A professional game ranger and expert tracker takes you around in an open safari vehicle.

You will have tea and coffee before you depart for the sunrise game drive. You will have a light informal brunch back at Imbali Safari Lodge. Then an afternoon of relaxation before departing for the evening game drive. Enjoy sundowners at a special vantage point, and a delicious 3-course dinner under the stars in the outdoor boma.

You'll have breakfast hot beverages, light brunch, sundowner drinks, and a 3-course dinner.

Kruger National Park to Johannesburg

You will wake up early for tea and coffee and then depart for a sunrise safari tour of the Mluwati Concession. You will enjoy a light breakfast back at Imbali Safari Lodge before checking out of your chalet.

You’ll be driven to Hoedspruit at mid-morning to catch the shuttle bus back to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.

You will arrive in Johannesburg between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm, depending on traffic.
