Ngorongoro Crater
We suggest a very early wake-up in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you will ever witness. After the game drive, we return to the camp for a rewarding brunch, and then we will proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater, the 8th wonder of the natural world.
The crater spreads for 165km² and has 610m high walls, making you think of Noah's ark as you can find most of the animals indigenous to East Africa in the crater. It is one of the rare locations on the continent where you can observe the black rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a significant concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It is also famous for the exceptionally large elephants residing here, the biggest in the world, with huge tusks. The Ngorongoro Crater is truly a wonder of the natural world.
