You'll be mesmerized by these huge salt pans, They are remnants of the super lake that dried up thousands of years ago, leaving crystalline salts glittering on the pans. These pans are so huge that they are visible from space.
Your tour will start on this day and you will be picked up in the morning from your lodge/hotel by your guide early in the morning to embark on a drive to Nxai Pans National Park.
> You will be picked up between 6:00 am and 6:30 am by your guide.
> You'll embark on a 160 km travel on a tarmac heading east of Maun to the Nxai park entrance.
> You will make a stopover at the entrance for a packed breakfast.
> Upon entering you will do another 2 to 3 hours slow drive in a deep sand to the designated wilderness camping site.
> Before arriving at the camping site you'll stop around the Baines baobabs for your packed lunch.
> You'll do a short sundowner game drive on arrival.
> Dinner would be served in the camp and thereafter you can sit around a fire to introspect.

Exploring Nxai Pan National Park

On this day the interest is to explore the Nxai Pans area as well as visit the historical Baines Baobabs site. You'll do a slow game drive around and admire the beautiful landscape of the pans and be amazed by the survival of species in the harsh environment. You'll complete your day by observing the night sky /stargazing.
> You'll wake up early for coffee/tea, Juice, cereals, and fruits.
> You'll embark on a morning drive to the historic Baines Baobabs( These baobabs were made famous by the Baines Brothers who were explorers and visited the site in 1862.
> You'll stop over at the Baobabs for a cup of coffee or juice while doing a historical interpretation of the site.
> You'll have a game drive heading towards the camp.
> You will be served breakfast on arrival.
> You will be served lunch in the camp.
>After lunch, you will have enough time to relax before going on an afternoon game drive/sundowner.
> A warm dinner will be served in the camp.

This reserve is situated along the Boteti River, it is here where the zebra/ blue wildebeest migration can be observed. A large number of herbivores attract cats, especially lions, leopards, hyenas, and other small carnivores. It is advisable to have your camera ready at all times when doing a safari in Botswana and therefore even in Makgadikgadi, you must have it fully charged and ready to capture beautiful moments presented by nature.

> You'll grab your backpack and all equipment and start a slow drive out of Nxai Pan to the Makgadikgadi entrance which might take you about 3 hours.

Exploring Central Kalahari Game Reserve

Central Kalahari Game Reserve ( CKGR) is the second-largest wildlife game reserve in the world and home of the black-marred lions. The landscape is dominated by silver Terminalia sandveldt, acacias, and Kalahari apple leaves, dunes, pans, and shallow fossil river valleys. Species like wildebeest, cheetahs, springboks, gemsboks, ostriches, bat-eared foxes, and ground squirrels call it home. You will also be amazed at the geology of the reserve especially the beautiful fossil river valleys at Deception Valley.

> You'll embark on about 4 hour's drive to CKGR Matswere gate.
> You'll stop over for a packed breakfast after Rakops.
> After Rakops, you'll do the final 45 km of dirt road to the park entrance.

The main interest on this day is to experience different parts of the reserve to maximize your safari experience. On this day, you'll do a day excursion to cover the Deception Valley/Deception Pan Leopard pan and Sunday Waterhole. You'll do your final Sundowner at Deception Pan.

> You'll start your day by exploring Deception Valley.
> You'll stop for a packed breakfast just before reaching Leopard Pan and explore it.

After a few nights in the wild, you will make a 1 night stop at Maun before heading to Moremi the following day. This will help you to buy any personal supplies you might need before going wild again. Moreover, a night there will give you a chance to share your safari experiences on any platform of your interest like YouTube or Social media platforms.
> You will wake up early at Central Kalahari Game Reserve. You'll have a full breakfast before starting on a 7-hour drive to Maun in which much or close to 130 Km will be on a sandy road and the last 80 Km on a tarmac road.
>You'll take a slow game drive to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve exit.
> From the park gate, you'll take a 4-hour drive on a sandy road to Makalamabedi village.
> You'll stop over for lunch near or ta Makalamabedi.
> You'll take the final 1-and-a-half-hour drive on the tarmac to Maun, the total journey will be around 7 hours.

Khwai concession is a community-run and managed wildlife area situated on the eastern side of the Okavango Delta. The Khwai River is the only border between Moremi Game Reserve and this beautiful reserve. It is in this reserve that you will see the full participation of the local community in the conservation and management of tourism-related businesses. The community manages this reserve through a government program called Community-Based Natural Resources Management. The reserve boasts of its richness in wildlife species like buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, lions, rich leopard populations, and lots of browsers and grazers.
