Kikuletwa Hot Springs
Maji Moto, known locally as Kikuletwa Hotsprings, is a paradisiac oasis within the Tanzanian savannah. It offers captivating views, crystal-clean water, and dense vegetation all-around. Chemka Hot Springs is also the best place to visit after climbing Kilimanjaro/Meru or going on a safari.
The Chemka oasis is a unique phenomenon—it is the only place in Tanzania (and most likely in all East Africa), where the groundwater actively interacts with geothermal sources, forming a number of small, warm lakes. After breakfast you will journey to the hot spring for unlimited swimming.

After breakfast, our safari will continue to Tarangire National Park. The park features an abundance of natural vegetation—mainly Acacia woodland, giant African baobab trees, and huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals during Tanzania’s dry season.
Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. Other animals you might see include zebra, wildebeest, giraffes, dik dik, impala, eland, Grant’s gazelles, olive baboon, and predators including lions, caracal, and African wild dog. This park is also home to three rare species of animals—the Greater kudu, the fringed-eared oryx, as well as a few Ashy starlings.
We will have a picnic lunch inside the park and then continue enjoying the wildlife diversity.
