Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Our driver will pick you up from JKIA in Nairobi and transfer you to Wilson Airport for the 10:0 a.m. flight to Masai Mara. As you disembark your plane at Olkiombo Airstrip, you will find the camp's knowledgeable Maasai guide standing ready to take you on your very first game drive in one of their tailor-made 4x4 safari land cruisers.

The camp's location is spectacular, with the great Mara plains surrounding the camp and the river in front of each tent. After lunch, you'll settle into your tent before joining your guide for a camp walk. At 4:00 p.m., you'll stroll across the private suspension bridge for your afternoon game drive. You will have a chance to see many animals and the beautiful landscape of Masai Mara.

As the sun sets, you will enjoy a classic Basecamp sun-downer under an acacia tree before returning to the camp for dinner. As you rest around the fireplace, listen to your Masai guide tell stories about their culture as you reflect on the experiences of the day.

Full-Day in Masai Mara National Reserve

You will wake up early for a cup of coffee, followed by a morning safari game drive. You'll enjoy the fresh breeze at the break of dawn and marvel as the bush comes to life in the early morning hours. Throughout the year, Masai Mara is a place of natural drama, color, and life. In between your morning and afternoon game drive, you will have ample time to relax and enjoy the ambiance at your camp.

After lunch and some time to relax, you will depart with your guide for an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five. The low afternoon light is perfect for photographing the beautiful rolling plains of the Masai Mara.

As the sun starts to set, you will return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Alternatively, you can wake up for breakfast before leaving with a picnic lunch for a full-day game-viewing drive to experience the Great Wildebeest Migration across the Mara River. Then return to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Naboisho Conservancy

You'll wake up for an early morning game drive before transferring to Eagleview in Mara Naboisho Conservancy in a vehicle or on foot. Walking with the Maasai is an unforgettable experience that is only allowed inside private conservancies such as Naboisho. You will move at a relaxed pace observing wildlife behavior and interactions. You'll spend 2-3 hours following game paths then have a short rest under the clear blue African skies. You'll enjoy snack delights before resuming your walk.

You'll arrive at Eagle View in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, you'll join your Maasai guide for an evening game drive. At sunset, you will stop over at a scenic viewpoint to enjoy Basecamp sundowner drinks and snacks. Get ready for the thrill of a lifetime: Basecamp Night Safari! As darkness sets in, it is your opportunity to see what happens in the African bush at night. Your Maasai guide will equip the vehicle with infrared lights to allow you to spot the nocturnal animals of Naboisho.

Mara Naboisho to Nairobi

You will wake at dawn in time for a final morning game drive or a waking safari. You will witness how the savannah comes alive as the sun rises. You will return for breakfast. After breakfast, you will collect your things and say your goodbyes. Just like the wildebeest, the time has come to wander on.

As you leave the camp, you will enjoy one last game drive on your way to Ol Seki Airstrip. You will reach the airstrip in time for your scheduled 11:00 a.m. flight, the perfect departure time for Nairobi. Upon landing at Wilson Airport, our driver will pick you up to transfer you back to JKIA or your hotel in Nairobi marking the end of a wonderful safari with Seremara Safaris.
