1-Day Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi National Forest

• A transfer from the airport can be arranged for an extra cost.

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel or any other place of residence and driven to the briefing point in the forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will be briefed about your adventure with the mountain gorillas. You are advised to carry enough drinking water and a lunch box. At a cost of 15 US dollars, you can get a porter to carry your bag and give you a hand in slippery or steep parts of the forest.

After the briefing, you are distributed into groups of 8 and led by a park ranger into the forest, where you will spend an hour with the gentle giants. Raingear is important, considering that Bwindi is a tropical rainforest. After the gorilla trekking, you will be transferred to Kabale or Kisoro, depending on your arrangement with SCB Tours and a travel guide.
