Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You will be met by our driver-guide who will deliver a short briefing. Afterwards, you'll head to the Tarangire National Park for a game drive. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of acacia woodland and giant African baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south.
The river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals during Tanzania’s Dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African national park is also home to 3 rare species of animals; greater kudu, fringe-eared oryx, and ashy starling. You'll have a picnic lunch, after which you'll continue the game drive until late evening. Then, you'll drive to the accommodation for your overnight stay.

Karatu to Serengeti National Park
Early in the morning, you will drive via the cooler highlands towards the southern Serengeti and at midday, you will reach the plains of the Serengeti National Park. This park is the largest in Tanzania and has a diversity of habitats and landscapes - short grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps and lakes. It also has bizarre rock formations called kopjes dotting the grassy landscape where predators are often seen. The Serengeti is famous for its yearly migration when hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras trek to find fresh grass and water. You will spend the night at Tukaone Serengeti Camp inside the park.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
On the last day, you will descend over 600m into the crater to view wildlife for a half-day safari tour. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants.
Another big drawcard to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopards, which sometimes require a trained eye to spot. You will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can be seen here. After lunch, you will ascend from the crater and return to Arusha.
