Upon arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro or Arusha), you will be met by the Imani Excursions representative who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha for an overnight stay waiting for your adventures to start on the following day. You will stay overnight at Arusha Planet Lodge.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park (approximately 149 km (926 mi) & 25hrs drive)

In the early morning after having breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha at around 7:30 am, or according to your preferred time, you will drive straight to Tarangire National Park which takes approximately 2.5 hours. Tarangire National Park is famous for the largest African elephants as well as the huge baobab trees and the mini-wildlife migration with more than 250,000 animals. It is one of the largest parks with an area of more than 2600 square kilometers.
You will also get a unique opportunity to see different animal species such as large numbers of impalas, elands, giraffes, buffaloes, Thompson’s gazelles, and gerenuk. Other animals that you will encounter are wildebeests and zebras, leopards, lions, hyenas, and cheetahs which seem to be popular within the southern open areas. You will be served with hot picnic lunch in the afternoon at around 12:30 pm.
In the evening, you will drive straight to your lodge for refreshments, a well-prepared dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
In the early morning after breakfast at your accommodation around 7:30 am to 8:00 am, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and have a glimpse of the crater from a viewpoint before entering the crater. The depth of the Ngorongoro crater is approximately 600m. It has a total diameter of 20 km with an area of about 260sq km.
Animals that are found inside the crater are wildebeests, elephants, zebras, antelopes, pride of lions, buffalos, leopards, jackals, hyenas, and hippos. It is also home to more than 500 bird species ranging from the largest to the smallest and within a very short time, it is possible to see as many birds as possible.
Lunch will be served at a picnic site near the permanent hippo pool. After lunch, you will finalize your game drive and ascend the crater on your way to your lodge.

Day 4
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha (approximately 126 km (78 miles) & 2hrs drive)

In the early morning after breakfast at your lodge, you will drive straight to Lake Manyara National Park. It is known as the home of tree-climbing lions as well as the birds’ paradise such as the great white pelicans, yellow-billed storks along with smaller numbers of Marabou storks, grey herons, palm-nut vultures, hawks, and many more. A huge number of animals can also be spotted inside Lake Manyara like elephants, wildebeests, zebras, Thomson's gazelles, and Grant's gazelles. Predators of Lake Manyara National Park include lions, hyenas, and black-backed jackals. Lunch will be served at a picnic site. After further exploration of the park, you will drive straight to Arusha which marks the end of your adventures with us.
If you would like to have an extra night in Arusha, we can arrange that for you or if you are flying, we will drive you straight to the airport to catch your onward flight.
