Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at the airport in Kilimanjaro or Arusha, you will be met by an Imani Excursions representative who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. There, you will wait for your adventures to start on the following day. Your overnight stay will be at Mount Meru Hotel.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early morning breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha at 7:30 am or according to your preferred time, you will drive for approximately two and a half hours to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is famous for the largest African elephants, huge baobab trees and a mini-wildlife migration with more than 250,000 animals. It is one of the largest parks with an area of more than 2600sq km.

You will also get a unique opportunity to see different animal species such as large numbers of impalas, elands, giraffes, buffaloes, Thompson’s gazelles and gerenuks. Other animals that you will encounter are the wildebeests, zebras, leopards, lions, hyenas, and cheetahs that seem to be popular within the southern open areas. You will be served a hot picnic lunch in the afternoon at around 12:30 pm.
In the evening, you will drive straight to your camp for refreshments, a well-prepared dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

You will have an early morning breakfast at your accommodation from 7:30 am to 8:00 am. Afterward, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation area and have a glimpse of the crater from a viewpoint before entering it. The depth of Ngorongoro Crater is approximately 600 meters and has a total diameter of 20km with an area of about 260sq km.

The animals you can find inside the crater include wildebeests, elephants, zebras, antelopes, pride of lions, buffalos, leopards, jackals, hyenas, and hippos. It is also home to more than 500 bird species ranging from the largest to the smallest and within a very short time, it is possible to see as many birds as possible.

Lunch will be served at a picnic site near the permanent hippo pool. After lunch, you will finalize your game drive and ascend the crater on your way to your lodge.

Day 4

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

After an early morning after breakfast at your lodge, you will drive straight to Lake Manyara National Park. It is known as the home of tree-climbing lions as well as a birds paradise. Great white pelicans, yellow-billed storks along with smaller numbers of Marabou storks, grey herons, palm-nut vultures, hawks and many more are found here. A huge number of animals can also be spotted inside Lake Manyara like elephants, wildebeests, zebras, Thomson's and Grant's gazelles. Predators of Lake Manyara National Park include lions, hyenas, and black-backed jackals among others. Lunch will be served at a picnic site. After a further exploration of the park, you will drive straight to Arusha which marks the end of your adventures with us.
If you would like to have an extra night in Arusha, we can arrange that for you or if you are flying, we will drive you straight to the airport to catch your onward flight.
