Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro or Arusha), an Imani Excursions representative will meet you and drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. You will stay overnight in a luxury hotel while waiting for the safari adventure to start the following day.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Early morning after having breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha, at around 7:30am, or according to your preferred time, you will drive straight to Tarangire National Park, which takes approximately 2.5 hours. Tarangire National Park is famous for the largest African elephants, huge baobab trees, and the mini-wildlife migration of more than 250 000 animals. It is one of the largest parks, with an area of more than 2600km².

You will also get a unique opportunity to see different animal species, such as numerous impalas, elands, giraffes, buffaloes, Thompson’s gazelle, and gerenuk. Other animals you will encounter are wildebeests and zebras, leopards, lions, hyenas, and cheetahs which seem to be popular within the southern open areas. We will serve you a hot picnic lunch at around midday.
In the evening, you will drive straight to your lodge for refreshments, a well-prepared dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater and Central Serengeti National Park

Ngorongoro Crater and Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at around 8:00am, you will drive straight to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop at a viewing point. After that, you will descend into the 600m deep crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. It is one of the world's most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites and an exceptional place to interact with people from the Masai tribe. On reaching the crater's edge, the 20km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its glory, and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25 000 animals, including a wide range of bird species, hyenas, and the endangered black rhino. We will serve you a hot lunch at a picnic spot near the hippo pool. After lunch, we will drive you straight to the heart of Serengeti National Park. You will have an en-route game drive to your accommodation, where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park to Karatu

Serengeti National Park to Karatu

Early morning after breakfast at around 8:00am or according to your preference, you will continue exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park on a half-day game drive. The Serengeti National Park is home to the largest concentration of wildlife than anywhere else on the planet. The park offers a multitude of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards. We will serve you a hot lunch inside the park at around 12:30pm with soft drinks and unlimited drinking water. You will have a final game drive in the afternoon. At around 3:00pm, you will drive straight to the gate and head for your accommodation in Karatu, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for your dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Early morning after breakfast at the lodge, you will drive straight to Lake Manyara National Park. This park is known as the home of tree-climbing lions and a birder's paradise. Some bird species in this area include great white pelicans, yellow-billed storks, smaller numbers of marabou storks, grey herons, palm-nut vultures, hawks, and many more. A considerable number of animals can also be spotted inside Lake Manyara National Park, like elephants, wildebeest, zebras, Thomson's gazelle, and Grant's gazelles. Predators of Lake Manyara National Park include lions, hyenas, and black-backed jackals. We will serve you lunch at a picnic site, and after further exploration of the park, you will drive straight to Arusha, which marks the end of your adventures with us.

If you would like to have an extra night in Arusha, we can arrange that for you, or if you are flying to your next destination, we will drive you straight to the airport to catch your flight.
