1-Day Day Trip Safari (Ngorongoro Crater)

Early in the morning at around 06:00, you will be transferred from your hotel with a picnic lunch heading to Ngorongoro Crater. The distance covered is 190km from Arusha to the named destination whereby you can be able to ascend and descend on the same day.
Ngorongoro Crater is an area which is within the Ngorongoro Conservation area which was established in 1959 occupying an area of 8292sq km. It has an area of 304km and a depth of 630m. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest inactive and empty volcanic caldera formed 3 million years ago. Approximately 25,000 large animals live in a 30,000-hectare crater including 500 bird species and animals like lions, black rhinos, elephants, and giraffes.
You will enjoy a gaming Safari in the Ngorongoro Crater then later in the afternoon travel back to your hotel in Arusha.
(You have the option to visit a Maasai village for cultural interaction at an extra cost subject to time permit).
