Your African safari adventure begins as you take a short flight from Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport to Hoedspruit Airport. You will be met and transferred by road to Motswari Game Lodge on arrival.

The Motswari Game Lodge is the perfect environment to reconnect with wild Africa. Your suite boasts superb views from the private patio and an extra outdoor shower allowing you to freshen up surrounded by the sights and sounds of the bush.

Depending on your arrival time, you may have time to explore the lodge facilities and enjoy a sumptuous lunch before venturing into the bush on your first-afternoon game drive. Motswari Game Lodge is a photographer's paradise, so be sure to have your camera ready as you come up close to the animals and the most significant sunset you will ever see, creating perfect shots. On your return to the lodge, you will be greeted by a perfectly prepared dinner served under a canopy of stars.

Immersive Safari Experiences and Activities

In the morning, you will gather in the dining area to enjoy a freshly brewed cup of tea or coffee before heading back into the bush on a morning safari. Game drives are generally 3 to 4 hours long, with a stop en route to stretch your legs and enjoy refreshments. When you return to the lodge, breakfast is served, and you have some free time to relax in your suite, go on a walking safari or relax beside the pool. The lodge overlooks a waterhole, so it is not unusual for animals to gather there while you are lying by the pool or lounging in the shade.

Later in the afternoon, you will venture back into the bush for another afternoon game drive, hopeful of seeing an abundance of wildlife active at night. Then, experience another beautiful sunset while enjoying your favorite drink and return to the lodge for another decadent dinner.

Depart from Motswari Game Lodge to Hoedspruit Airport

After yet another exhilarating morning game drive and heartwarming breakfast, you will gather your belongings and bid farewell to the African bush as you transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight back to Johannesburg. Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will continue your onward travel, leaving behind a magical safari experience.
