You will depart from hotel in Arusha in the morning and head to Tarangire National Park, arriving before midday. Once in the park, you will be able to enjoy a morning and an afternoon game drive with a delicious lunch in the afternoon. Later start driving back to your accommodation at Farm of Dreams Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Depart from Tarangire in the morning after a hearty breakfast and make your way to the famous Serengeti National Park. En-route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will see some views of the Ngorongoro Crater before reaching the Serengeti gate. After lunch, you will head out on an afternoon game drive for the chance to look for some wildlife before sunset and dinner at the camp.

After a cup of coffee, head out early for your morning game drive for a chance to witness a magnificent African sunrise in the bush. Experience the wilderness and its magnificent creatures as they wake up among the dew-covered grasses.

Later, you will head back to camp for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, as you exit the park, you will have another chance to explore the plains in search of African wildlife. Proceed to your accommodation in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Lake Manyara Game Drive

Lake Manyara Game Drive

Today you will visit Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. Stretching along the base of the Rift Valley escarpment it is home to giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees & grassy flood plains. The contrasts of this area are simply breathtaking with its open plains, huge escarpment, Soda Lake, dense woodlands & distant volcanic peaks coming together in an area best described by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”.

Animals such as buffalo, wildebeest, giraffes, mongoose, dik dik & zebra herds congregate on the grassy plains while the acacia woodland is home to the legendary tree-climbing lions & tusked elephants.

Lake Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s bird life with more than 400 species being recorded. Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration as well as other large waterbirds such as pelicans

In the late afternoon you will return to your hotel in Arusha for your final evening.
