Kilimanjaro, Materuni village cultural tour

Around 8:00am you will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi and drive to Materuni village. Materuni is the home of the Chagga tribe and is still an authentic tribal village. This charming place is just 15km away from Moshi Town and is the last village before the Kilimanjaro National Park. Upon arrival, you will register at the village office and your trip can begin. First, you will visit the waterfalls. The views are truly breathtaking and with some luck, you will see the summit of Kilimanjaro. When you reach the waterfall, you will see that they are more than 80 meters high. The pool to the bottom of the waterfall is an inviting place for refreshing swims so don’t forget swimwear. After having enjoyed the scenery, you slowly return with your guide to Materuni village, where you will experience a traditional Chagga lunch. Before you say goodbye and return in the afternoon to Moshi, you can savor the coffee you made and appreciate the views of the surrounding rainforest.

Tarangire national park

We will pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 am. After meeting the guide, we proceed on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly well-known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and the largest concentration of elephants in the country. It provides unique opportunities to observe the interaction between elephant families. We will do a game drive through the park, depending on where there are reported sightings of animals. We will mostly follow predators (lion, cheetah & leopard), as they are harder to spot than herbivores (giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, etc.).
We'll then head to the Tarangire River picnic site for lunch and enjoy the beautiful view of the river and animals. Small monkeys & baboons will try to scare you off your lunch, but not anything to worry about. After lunch, we'll continue with the game drive. We exit the park at around 5:30 pm when we'll head to our accommodation.

Ngorongoro crater

The Ngorongoro Crater is the best wildlife park in Tanzania due to its beautiful landscape. Being in a crater makes it easier to see the wildlife. After an early breakfast at 6:00 am, we'll head to the Ngorongoro viewpoint and look at the amazing view. The surreal sight will take your breath away. We will then proceed to descend into the crater on a journey to find the black rhinos. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in this beautiful crater, as most animals will be easier to spot in this park due to it being a floor crater.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the highlight of the parks in Tanzania. It has the most beautiful scenery and it is populated with an abundance of animals. The crater itself is self-sustaining for the animals, so they don’t have to migrate out of the crater. After lunch, we'll do a game drive and ascend the crater, then transfer to your accommodation in Arusha.

We will pick you up from your hotel Tulia Spa & Boutique and start A city sightseeing tour in one of the big cities in Tanzania with many attraction. The city excursion will involve visiting the local markets, Masai market, cultural heritage & Arusha city.
Colourful and fragrant food and vegetable markets in Tengeru or Usa River will amaze you with a vast variety of well-known as well as unusual products. Visit the clock tower, which marks the center of Africa. Take a look at the archaeological artefacts in the old Boma German museum. Explore the local art scene and cultural souvenir markets. Visit the graves of Polish war refugees in Tenguru, where a local guide will present the significance of this cemetery. Stop around the town and soak in its unique vibe, whether sipping a local beer or indulging your palette in local food. Arusha is a town worth visiting, a great day to spend between the bush adventures. Late evening transfer to airport and that make the end of our tour.
