Nairobi-Maasai Mara

You will be picked up from your hotel or airport by your driver for a departure to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve stopping at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and then have lunch at Narok. You will arrive at Mara in the afternoon, check in and have a short rest before you proceed to enjoy your afternoon game drive in the reserve which is famous for its high animal concentration, abundance, and variety. You will go in search of the Big Five with game drives across the grassy plains of the Maasai Mara National Reserve before going back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Maasai mara

You begin your spectacular whole day game drive in the morning after breakfast which will allow spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park.
Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals as they are most active. This is the time that the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography.
You will drive down to the Mara River, site of the Great Migration when in season – July through October. The immense herds of wildebeest and zebra are a magnificent sight, matched only by the drama of the predators who lie in wait for them. You may want to take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost. Experience a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village. Want an unforgettable sight? Take a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah and witness the herds of wildlife emerging into the day.

Maasai Mara-Nairobi

On your last day, wake up very early to prepare for the morning game drive in Maasai Mara. After the game drive, return to the lodge for a full breakfast, then depart for Nairobi by road. Lunch will be served en-route. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon.
