Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Kivu Gisenyi Resort Town
Wake up early and prepare for the day. After our 07:00 am breakfast, we transfer to the Kinigi Park headquarters for a briefing on the gorilla-trekking rules and regulations as well as expectations. Gorilla trekking is an interesting hike amidst interspersed bamboo in search of the gentle giants, a unique experience. Once you find a gorilla family in their natural environment, see how they go about a normal day, feeding and playing around with the young ones. When you meet them, remember the rules and stay calm. You will enjoy one hour with the gorillas and can take as many photographs as you want.
Then you drive to Lake Kivu after going back to the beginning location. You may enjoy resting on the beach, participating in water activities like swimming, canoeing, and jet boats, or taking a boat tour to see the various islands while taking in the scenery when you come early in the afternoon. We'll stay in the lodge for dinner and the night.
